There is a lawsuit being filed against the EPA and the Bush Administration calling for an assessment of the dangers of smog emission standards. This follows the Bush Administration concluding that the standards did not need to be lowered.

People need to stop acting like whales don't matter. I watched this fascinating documentary last year on PBS about whales, and I was astonished. There is so much we can learn from these massive creatures!

Prince Harry to be removed from Afghanistan.
*Can't say that I'm particularly surprised. This might sound shocking, but I didn't actually care in the first place. I mean, really. How close was Prince Harry going to let "the enemy" get to him? Were they really going to get a good enough look to know that he's one of the princes?

I thought I was ready. I had my scotch, my remote and my optimism. The more scotch I drank the more optimistic I got. Finally I passed out, still clutching the remote and woke this morning to see Hillary gloat. Oh well. I guess she deserves to gloat. The way I see it, even though I am an Obama supporter, either one can beat McBush and any democrat, even a bad democrat is better than the best repugnant..
