There is a lawsuit being filed against the EPA and the Bush Administration calling for an assessment of the dangers of smog emission standards. This follows the Bush Administration concluding that the standards did not need to be lowered.
With a B.A. in poli sci, and a lot of time spent doing much of nothing but reading frivolous materials at work all day, what better way for me to spend my time than blogging about contemporary political issues?

Japanese Whalers in the News Again
People need to stop acting like whales don't matter. I watched this fascinating documentary last year on PBS about whales, and I was astonished. There is so much we can learn from these massive creatures!

Were the animal rights activists wrong for throwing acid at the Japanese whalers?
*Can't say that I'm particularly surprised. This might sound shocking, but I didn't actually care in the first place. I mean, really. How close was Prince Harry going to let "the enemy" get to him? Were they really going to get a good enough look to know that he's one of the princes?
